Hello, I am Maria Rice McClure and this is a showcase of my work.
Journalism has been a passion of mine for a long time, although I came by that passion all by accident. I had always dreamed of a career in art because of the creative outlet such a job would offer. Then I interned at a community newspaper while pursuing a graphic design degree. Something happened that semester when I learned that there is an art to telling a story through words, photography and design and it has changed my life forever.
I have been lucky enough to have worked in the field of journalism for more than 17 years. Today I am a proud civil servant for the United States Army working to tell the Army story as a Public Affairs Specialist.
